The goal of the Healthy Streams program is to improve surface water quality in North Simcoe, by helping landowners implement specific farm Best Management Practices, including Livestock Access Restrictions (fencing), Alternate Water Sources, and Erosion Control projects.

Cost-share programs such as Environmental Farm Plan and the Canada-Ontario Farm Stewardship Program can help Ontario farmers implement environmental projects.

SSEA may be able to provide additional funding assistance for some projects.
