2012 PARTNERS RECEPTION
The Severn Sound Environmental Association Annual Partners Reception was held at the Midland Public Library on Thursday November 8th. Several Mayors, Councillors, SSEA members, community service groups, volunteers and landowners attended to celebrate our partnerships, projects and award recipients. Representatives from the Federal and Provincial governments as well as County of Simcoe were also in attendance. Over the past year, the SSEA has worked with a number of organizations, individuals and businesses to monitor environmental quality and implement stewardship projects to protect the Severn Sound watershed. In total, 51 landowners and partners were recognized for their exceptional contributions to the Severn Sound environment. More Information... OPEN HOUSE 2013

The SSSPA consists of members from the SSEA Board and administers the Source Water Protection Program in the Severn Sound Watershed. SSSPA is part of the: SUSTAINABILITY PLAN The Severn Sound Sustainability Plan is a vision for the Severn Sound watershed in the year 2050. It includes Goals, Strategic Directions and Actions that will, when implemented, ensure the sustainability of the watershed for generations to come. The Severn Sound Sustainability Plan was finalized and endorsed by all 9 partner municipalities in the Spring of 2009. More Information... WORKING AROUND WATER
