Monitoring in the Severn Sound Area
The Severn Sound Environmental Association (SSEA) is working to improve how we share water quality information with our communities and partners, and we would value your input.
We invite anyone with an interest in Severn Sound and its surrounding watershed to participate. Community members, residents, visitors, local organizations, and anyone who values our shared water resources are encouraged to provide their input.
By taking a few minutes to complete this short survey by February 28, 2026, you can help guide what information is shared and how it is presented in future environmental monitoring reports. Your perspective will help ensure that SSEA’s reporting is clear, meaningful, and useful to those who care about local lakes, rivers, and the Severn Sound.
The survey is anonymous, participation is voluntary, and providing an email address to receive future updates is optional.
We encourage you to take part and to share this survey with others who may be interested. Thank you for helping us strengthen environmental stewardship in the Severn Sound watershed.
Severn Sound Environmental Association regularly monitors
the open waters of Severn Sound and it’s tributaries.
Monitoring also extends to groundwater resources of the Severn Sound area
