Although the Well Aware program is no longer active, helpful resources for Ontario well owners, including the Guide to Caring for Your Well, remain available through the Walkerton Clean Water Centre.

Learn how to protect and maintain a safe water supply for your family using the information and resources available through the Well Aware resources.

Well Aware was a project of Green Communities Canada that encouraged Ontario’s residential well owners to protect their wells and our common groundwater supplies. The program was supported by the Ontario Ministry of the Environment, with technical support provided by the Association of Professional Geoscientists of Ontario.
